Hide the women and children…It’s the attack of the META-BALLS! Steve Stone joins us as we tiptoe the line of decency and tech. In this episode we discuss Steve’s recent move to Louisville & how it’s different from LasVegas as well as his new meterological discoveries. We also jump into a little 3-D discussion about open source blender and really cool Cinema 4D. Also included are tips for College Football Fans who have Saturday night services & our first bleeped out statement! (thanks Dave!)

could you perhaps put up a tutorial on how to make an object in blender?

Since blender is a free/open source ap, there is a ton of free resources to accompany it. Here are a few…
Blender.org – http://blender.org/cms/Tutorials.243.0.html
WikiBooks – http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
BlenderNation – http://www.blendernation.com/tutorials
As far as creating an ‘object’, it is easiest to start off with a basic mesh. To add one of those, either go to the ‘add’ menu in the upper left, ‘Mesh’, then a cube or sphere or something. (MetaObjects can be found in the add menu as well.) Or, you can Right-Click-and-hold in the workspace to access the same menu.
