yea the plugin for shake is called conduit its by some of the guys from pixelcorp, it opens up another shake like window that allows you to edit the footage, preform keying and anything else you want to do in real time. Thats the biggest benefit of using shake is that by using the OpenGL it places all the preformance for graphics on the graphics card and mathmatics will go to the processor which allows the computer do preform editing in real time. You can find more information about this program on the MacBreak video podcast, which is made using shake, really cool watching the program, they use one of the new cams that shoot 4:4:4 which is just amazing and they have a storage system that would make any video guy drool.

you guys were talking about the matrox triplehead2go and I just had a question. you said it wasn’t compatible w/ the mac, but if it is a hardware based solution, then how could it not be? I have an iMac core duo and my video card is compatible to the matrox system, so how could it not work? the mac would recognize it as an external monitor and the matrox box does the rest. what am I missing that would make this uncompatible?

http://www.studica.com/matrox. I don’t know what price I blurted out, but it’s $280. Hope this still helps. As for the “mac only based” dealio… the matrox website said that Windows does some processing as far as the desktop division is concerned. But, the BigStuff guys got it to work!
